IOSA's mission is to provide San Juan County with prompt, effective, local spill response and prevention, which includes spill assessment, oil containment, exclusion & removal and oiled wildlife search & rescue

“Green Heron” ----- San Juan Island - 23’ Beachmaster landing craft w/115 hp & 8.9 hp Yamaha outboards – anchors, gas meters onboard

“Auklet” ----- San Juan Island - 16’ workskiff w/85 hp Suzuki outboard – additional anchors onboard

“Bluebird” ----- San Juan Island - 18’ workskiff w/130 hp Mercury outboard

“Scoter” ----- Orcas Island - 13’ workskiff w/30 hp outboard

* Yellow DOE trailers – these equipment trailers are equipped with boom, anchors, boom lights, sorbents, bags, PPE.  IOSA has access to all 5 and is responsible for maintenance, replacement, etc. on 4.
